Advent Procession with Carols

November 27, 2022 - 4pm.

The traditional Advent Procession ushers in the new church year with a candlelit service of lessons, carols, and spectacular music from our choir. A sherry reception will follow.

The Advent Procession was brought to All Saints in 1953 by Hugh Bancroft, organist and choir master, after attending a similar service at King's College Chapel in Cambridge. Hugh Bancroft was also a renownd composer, and we will be singing one of his hymns - "There's a Voice in the Wilderness Crying".

This popular service is a great opportunity to introduce our worship to new people, so invite your friends! If you use Facebook, please share this event with your friend list or any groups who might be interested.
