Outreach Team announcement – Refugee Support

Our community will recall that it was over two years ago that All Saints Church was asked by the Diocesan Refugee Committee to consider assisting with the sponsorship of a refugee to relocate from the middle east to Winnipeg. Our commitment is to provide a bank account to hold the sponsorship funds for the first two years to assist with her relocation and settlement in Winnipeg.

We are today pleased to announce that after well over eight years in a refugee camp Khasma Bader will be arriving at Winnipeg Airport on Air Canada flight 261 from Toronto on June 13/23 at 11:40am. Members of the Outreach team will be in attendance at the airport. If any others from the All Saints community would like to be in attendance to welcome Khasma and help celebrate her arrival in Canada you would be most welcome. I am sure that those needing a ride could be readily arranged. Please let Joy in the office know if you wish to join us.
