Cambridge Coffeehouse: Coffee with a Cause
Saturday, November 25 7:30-9:30 pm at St. Mark's Lutheran Church (600 Cambridge Street, Winnipeg).
This is a two-hour session featuring a house band and any others who are interested in sharing music - any kind of music. We have a great lineup of local talent and a casual come and go atmosphere with coffee and desserts!
Admission is free and we invite donations to our worthy cause:

Advent Carols & Lessons: Friday, Dec 1st at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, Dec 2nd at 4:30 p.m. The Anglican Parish of St. Peter, Dynevor (River, 8 Stone Church Rd Lot 212, East Selkirk, MB). “We are the Oldest Indigenous Church in western Canada in continuous use! It is where Chief Peguis converted to Christianity, he is buried in the cemetery along with his descendants. There are over 4000 graves in the cemetery and most are unmarked, the earliest grave is about 1839. The cemetery is 184 years old and we still do burials here. Please join us for our upcoming advent services.”
Cookie Walk
Saturday, December 2nd 10 – 1130 AM at St. Peter’s Anglican church (377 Elm Street)
St. Peter's Anglican Church will be hosting their annual Cookie Walk fundraiser on Saturday, December 2nd, 10am - 11:30am. In addition to a fabulous raffle, there will also be a wide variety of cookies to choose from, as well as a bake table with cakes, jams, and jellies. This fundraiser is very popular and well supported by the community. It is suggested that you come early. We look forward to welcoming you. Please note that the sale is a CASH ONLY event.
Christmas Tea presented by St. Francis Anglican Church (253 Burrin Ave)

Please join the community of St. Francis Anglican church for their Christmas Tea fundraiser. Lunch and tea is $8 and there will be lots of home baking and silent auctions to see and buy.
A Christmas With ReSound! & Friends, Saturday, December 2, 2023, 7pm, at First Lutheran Church, 580 Victor St. A note from Yanna Courtney: “I sing in this choir. Join Mark Johnson and I for a benefit concert with ReSound! choir singing beloved new and old a cappella Christmas favourites, and holiday tunes with our special guests. We are raising funds for a combined dental and vision/optical medical mission to the Philippines in February 2024. Our goal is to help raise $10,000 towards dental work – cleanings, fillings, extractions; and vision exams with eyeglasses, for approximately 1,000 patients. Tickets are only $10. Available at the door, or in advance by e-transfer to: resoundchoir@proton.me See you there!”
Advent Open House: Tuesday, December 5, 3 p.m. – 6 p.m. The Anglican Lutheran Centre (935 Nesbitt Bay, Winnipeg, MB). Please join the staff at the Anglican Lutheran Centre including Bishop Jason (MNO) and Bishop Geoff (DRL) for some refreshments, fellowship, carol singing and general holiday cheer.
St. Andrew, Woodhaven Craft and Vendor Sale

Have you started your Christmas shopping yet? We can help you with your shopping needs at the St. Andrew Woodhaven Craft and Vendor sale. It takes place on December 9th from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm in the hall at 2700 Portage Avenue. The cost to get in is $2.
It will be hard to decide between the beautiful wooden ornaments, handmade crochet and knit items, various quilted products, charcuterie boards, resin work, paintings, candles, refurbished lego and more! Do you like to read? This year we have two authors joining us! We also have several Vendors such as Norwex, Sipology, and Scentsy. We hope to see you there!
St. Andrews Parish Christmas Tea & Bake Sale

Carols & Candles with Proximus 5: Saturday, December 9, 7 pm. A candlelit concert of classic Christmas carols and new arrangements of our own. The program includes works by Tallis, Gjeilo, and Lauridsen, as well as our Scott Reimer and Dan Rochegood. New tunes include White Winter Hymnal and Solstice Carol. Join the neighbourhood choir Ladies of the Street and conductor Diane Berger for a free 45-minute concert of Christmas music on Wednesday, December 13 at 7:30 pm at All Saints Church.
St. Francis Anglican Church presents ... A CHRISTMAS EVENING WITH THE JANZEN BOYS
Friday December 15th, 2023 at 6:30 at St. Francis Anglican Church (253 Burrin Ave)
In the sanctuary, THE JANZEN BOYS will be performing some of their own songs, Christmas favorites, as well we will join them in a sing a-long of Christmas songs. They are also planning to bring a special guest(s) to add to the evening. Doors Open – 6:30 p.m. Concert – 7:30 p.m.

Please make sure you put your name in the message section of the e-transfer, so the tickets can be held for you at the door. The Holidays Can Be Hard, December 19, 7:00pm – st benedict’s table: An opportunity for folks to gather in the chapel at All Saints, acknowledging that sometimes the Christmas season can be tough. This year will be led by Rachel and Andrew Colman.
