71st Annual Advent Procession with Carols

December 1, 2024 - 4pm.

The traditional Advent Procession ushers in the new church year with a candlelit service of lessons, carols, and spectacular music from our choir. A casual reception will follow.

The Advent Procession was brought to All Saints in 1953 by Hugh Bancroft, organist and choir master, after attending a similar service at King's College Chapel in Cambridge. Hugh Bancroft was also a renowned composer, and we will be singing one of his hymns - "There's a Voice in the Wilderness Crying".

This popular service is a great opportunity to introduce our worship to new people, so invite your friends!

Parking is generously available in the Canada Life parking lot, south of Broadway (More information here). There is no charge for this service, but an offering will be collected.
