Stained Glass Windows Removed for Maintenance

Two of our magnificent windows, on the west wall, and above the high altar on the east wall, have recently been removed for repairs and maintenance. Over the 123 and 98 years (respectively) that the windows have graced our church, the weight of the glass and exposure to the elements has caused fractures in the panes and shifting of the panels. The East window will also have a complete refurbishment which will return it to like-new condition, ensuring another 100 years of beauty in our sanctuary.

The west window has clear glass still in place, while the east window has opaque textured glass.

The windows are being repaired by Prairie Studio Glass, and are scheduled to be completed before September.
